Songo Variations
Songo is one of the more recent Afro – Cuban musical forms and rhythms developed in the early 1970’s and made popular by Changuito from the group Los Van Van. It is also one of the most well known forms of Cuban music since the revolution. The Songo, was the first Afro – Cuban style of music that was developed directly from the contemporary drumkit.
